| BBB VIDEO SERIES OVERVIEW |
| |
| Mission |
| The goal of the Better Business Bureau Video Series is to educate consumers before a problem occurs in order to reduce
consumer complaints. We strive to reach as many consumers as possible, while providing this valuable information at the
lowest possible cost. Titles in the Series are selected from the list of complaints generated annually as a result of millions
of contacts to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) each year. In 2002, the BBB serviced 41.5 million requests, nearly double the 21.4
million serviced in 2001. In 2003, the BBB logged 56 million instances of service. See report |

| History |
| During the past nine years, we have worked closely with a multitude of governmental entities, national organizations and
industry experts to develop the most accurate and useful information for consumers. |
| |
| The Know Fraud video, related to mail and telephone fraud prevention, is a perfect example of the way we work closely
with national organizations in order to increase the Video Series exposure. For this video, we coordinated with the United States
Postal Inspection Service, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Federal Trade Commission, the Department of Justice, the National
Association of Attorneys General, and the Securities and Exchange Commission. The well-known actor, Lou Gosset Jr., was the host of
the video, which was presented to the public in November, 1999 by President Clinton and Attorney General Janet Reno. The Know Fraud
video was distributed to every public library nationwide and a mailer was delivered to every household in the United States. |
